Current JC Video users can upgrade from version 4.x of the studio suite software to the new version 5.x

Upgrade Instructions to JC Video Version 5.0

To minimize the need for technical support, please follow these directions.  Make sure you have a valid active internet connection.

Verify that you have the proper video memory:

• Open START menu, select run…
• Type ‘DXDIAG’ in the open field
• Select Display Tab from the Direct X Diagnostics Window
• In the body of text APPROX TOTAL MEMORY; 64MB minimum
• Close Direct X Diagnostics

Remove the current version of software:

• START menu, select ‘Control Panel’
• Add/Remove Programs
• Locate and select the current JC Video Software version
• REMOVE all versions if you have more than one installed
• Restart your computer
• DO NOT WORRY, YOUR DATABASE WILL NOT BE AFFECTED

Download and install the latest version:

• Go to www.jcvideo.com
• Select ‘Software Downloads’ from the Software menu
• Select the link for the appropriate version of software (Golf or Baseball, Personal or Professional)
• Save the installer package to your computers hard drive (My Documents, or Desktop)
• Locate the installer package on your hard drive (My Documents or Desktop) and double click
• Follow the directions in the Windows Installer Wizard that will autorun (next, next, I agree, etc…)
• Register the Software (The software can be run in a Demonstration mode for 10 days before registration is required)

If you have not purchased a serial number at this point:

• Go to www.jcvideo.com and purchase an upgrade via our shopping cart
• Personal Software upgrades need to contact JC Video via email to obtain a discount coupon support@jcvideo.com
• Once the purchase is complete and verified you will receive your serial number via email
• Register on-line using your serial number
• Enter the required information in the registration page
• Select register
• Be patient, registration can take up to 2 minutes
• You will be notified once your software has been successfully registered
